The metal materials commonly used in the hardware parts we often use are stainless steel, copper, aluminum, zinc alloy, magnesium alloy, steel, iron and so on.

Hardware products are often divided into cold processing and hot processing according to different processing methods, different kinds of hardware forming methods are not the same, cold processing such as sheet metal materials, mainly through the mold cold stamping, bending, drawing and other processes forming. Hot processing such as casting parts, mainly by melting metal raw materials into liquid casting mold.

It is generally believed that sheet metal materials with uniform thickness are collectively referred to as sheet metal. Commonly used sheet metal materials are stainless steel, galvanized steel, tinplate, copper, aluminum, iron and so on.

The principle of uniform product thickness
Sheet metal is a material of uniform thickness, which should be paid attention to in the structural design, especially in the place where there are more bending, it is easy to cause uneven thickness.

The principle of easy flattening

Sheet metal products are made of sheet metal processing, before there is no processing, raw materials are flat, so when designing sheet metal parts, all bending and beveling should be able to unfold on the same plane, and there can be no interference between each other.
